Sound Design in Action: Supercheap Auto

For Supercheap Auto’s Best Performing Oils commercial, the cars had not been recorded usefully on set, so Rosco replaced every vehicle sound using later recordings and carefully selected sound-effect libraries. Each sound was matched to the particular engine on screen. The music was then extensively re-edited to work with the picture and vehicle sound design before Rosco completed the final mix.
